Marsh & Ferry Corsten – Attraction (Marsh’s Mix)
Marsh and Ferry Corsten are back together with “Attraction”, a two-part release split across two Anjuna labels. Marsh’s Mix lands today on Anjunadeep; Ferry Corsten’s version follows on April 10 via Anjunabeats. It’s their second studio collaboration — the first, “Fulfilment”, was played out to roughly 11,000 people at the Old Royal Naval College in London during Anjunadeep Open Air.
Marsh’s interpretation sits firmly in his progressive house register: warm low-end, gradual builds, a melodic topline built for large outdoor spaces. The track has been road-tested extensively — sold-out headline shows at Fabric and Leake Street, plus dates across Australia, India, Europe, South America, and North America — and that process shows. It’s the kind of track where the patience in the arrangement feels earned rather than stretched. What catches my ear is how the build holds back longer than you expect before it opens up, which gives the release more impact when it comes.
Ferry Corsten brings a different lineage to the pairing. One of the architects of Dutch trance, he carries a Grammy nomination, gold records, and a festival CV that includes Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra, and Tomorrowland. His mix arrives in a couple of weeks on Anjunabeats, and the split-label release is a neat structural reflection of where each version lives sonically — deeper and emotive on Anjunadeep, high-energy trance on Anjunabeats. A limited-edition 12″ vinyl featuring both mixes and their extended versions is available exclusively through the Anjuna Music Store.
